Agency admits 'melting' of N-fuel

The report was the first time the agency, an organ of the Economy, Trade and Industry Ministry, has acknowledged that nuclear fuel has melted at the Fukushima No. 1 nuclear plant.
The Japanese are starting to remind me of George Washington, i.e. caught standing next to a dead cherry tree with the axe still in his hands and only then deciding he can't lie his way out of it.
